Repertoire

In the spirit of the Second Vatican Council the choir, as well as the entire student body, has a wide repertoire of liturgical music.  They are able to sing the Ordinary of the Mass to Gregorian settings in Latin, as well as to contemporary settings using rhythm and percussion instruments.  Students are equally  familiar with works by a quite diverse group of composers and various schools of religious music: Haugen, Deiss, Haas, Montini, Taize, Gelineau, the St. Louis Jesuits, the Dameans, Lambilotte, Chant, and a whole lot more!  They also draw from a rich heritage of ethnic music, in particular, Polish hymns, songs used by those who founded our parish and school in the last century, and still loved by many of our benefactors today.
